The Professional Twerk Training with an Intersectional Lens takes place both in person and live online.
All twerk classes are in person.
The classes taught by the invited team of professionals are live and online.
All online classes will be taught in Spanish. In‑person classes can be bilingual in Spanish and English if needed. Recorded classes will include English subtitles.
All sessions are recorded, and you’ll have access to them for 3 years.
You’ll follow a structured program and calendar, available from the very beginning, so you can schedule your classes, stay organized, and progress through the content in a clear and orderly way.

We cover key aspects of twerk practice such as biomechanics, inverted postures, and injury prevention.
We also approach education and the body from a decolonial framework, fostering trauma‑sensitive perspectives. We emphasize gestating rather than merely managing spaces with people with functional diversity, and we highlight the political importance of inclusive language, among many other topics.

Brazil
With more than 7 years of experience as a dance teacher across over15 countries, she has worked with students from more than 50 nationalities. Founder of Luniverse Dance Academy, where she shares freedom, culture, and connection through movement.
Fatou Afrikangyal
Dancer and Choreographer of African Urban Styles. Sociologist
Spain
With more than 13 years of experience as a professional dancer and dance teacher, she is the co‑founder of Melanin Team, where she promotes dance as a tool to resist and challenge the oppressions faced by migrant and racialized communities. Originally from Mali, she currently lives in Barcelona.
