Book: Talks with Mom

“Charlas con Mamá” is the editorial debut of Ana Chinchilla, addressing themes such as:
-
Family love and emotional heritage
-
Intimate relationships and motherhood
-
The awareness of being a woman, through three generations — grandmother, mother, and daughter
Through personal stories, it explores female identity and intergenerational bonds, inviting readers to a profound reflection.
Why choose this book?
Because it’s more than a book: it’s a conversation across generations, a mirror to recognize yourself, and a space to uncover patterns, connections, and lessons that resonate with today’s women and mothers. It is memory, it is tribute, and it is also a gift you can personalize for someone special.

Ana Chinchilla is a writer, activist, dancer, and actress.
Number one in sales across more than five countries on the very first day of its Amazon release, Ana Chinchilla’s self‑published debut Charlas con Mamá (2020) marked the beginning of her literary journey.
Ana Chinchilla is a restless soul, a community activist, actress, dancer, and twerk teacher in Barcelona — the city she moved to in 2010 to pursue a Master’s in Food Development and Innovation at the University of Barcelona.
Proudly Colombian, born in Cali — “the branch of heaven,” a city that vibrates with music and dance.
Since 2018 she has been part of Comando Señoras, a collective creation project led by Alicia Reyero and formed by more than 20 women, dedicated to building new female references in fiction and feminist‑oriented production models.
In 2019, Júlia Bertran invited her to collaborate on a piece developed with Sixto Paz Produccions.
From that creative process emerged Así Bailan Las Putas, a hybrid proposal premiered at the Grec Festival the same year, filling the entire season.
Ana Chinchilla was nominated for the Critics’ Awards as Best Breakthrough Actress of that year.
