Free and powerful booties
When I started twerking in 2017, I faced a problem: no sportswear allowed me to move freely.
Everything was designed to compress, to hold, to keep movement still. But what I needed was the opposit.
No sportswear let me move freely. So I created Twerkwear — made for liberation, not restriction.
Against restrictive clothing
Each year it seemed worse: hyper‑compressive pants, uncomfortable, almost painful. It felt like wrapping myself up just to fit into an imposed body norm. So I began searching for leggings and shorts that would let me feel comfortable while dancing.
The revolution of moving without fear
I remember my first twerk class. I saw myself in the mirror, with all my flesh bouncing, and I felt shame. All my life I had been taught that this was wrong. But in that moment I realized twerk was revolutionary: it invites you to inhabit your body as it is, unapologetically.
From black leggings to the first shorts
During the first months, I only wore long leggings. I didn’t want to see my cellulite. Everything changed in 2018 when I brought from Colombia the first shorts printed with the words DO NOT TOUCH.
From idea to professional design
To perfect the finishing touches, I collaborated with María Torres, designer and trainer in fashion techniques.
Together we gave the TWERKyourLIFE shorts their final shape — with guaranteed quality and comfort.

In 2020, when my mom arrived in Barcelona, we began sewing together.
With the help of my aunt Aracely from Chile via video call, we developed the very first shorts made entirely by us.
